LOTD: Deep Fall Lips + Tutorial

It's finally fall and my makeup looks are going from neutral to deep. I created on this look last night using 3 products and it came out pretty good so I thought I'd share it with you beauties. Enjoy!

For this look I used:

1) DMGM Explosion lip liner
2) Avon Color Trend lipstick in the shade Spicy
3) Bourjois Effect 3D lip gloss in Canelle Unic (read review)

Step 1:

Start with bare lips. Make sure your lips are well moisturized otherwise the look won't come out as expected. Here I've applied chap stick.

Step 2:

Next line the lips using a deep color lip liner. The softer the better. Don't worry if the line is thick.

Step 3:

Fill in the lips with a moisturizing lipstick. You can even use a matte one if you like.

Make sure the colors are similar so they can blend well. This is the first look. You can leave it as it is or if you want to glam it up a bit then follow the next step.

Step 4:

Apply a coat of color lip gloss (recommended) or transparent one will also do.

And voila! The finished look.

I hope you liked it. Just make sure to use one color. Do let me know your opinion in the comments. Ciao!

Event: 37th MidEast Watch & Jewelry Show, Sharjah-Highlights, Photos

I got a chance to visit the 37th MidEast Watch & Jewelry Show held at Sharjah Expo Center from Oct 14th to 18th, 2014. The event comprised of designer jewelry and watch brands from five countries Italy, Hong Kong, Thailand, India and Singapore all displaying exquisite pieces from their respective cultures and design industry.

I felt the event mainly focused on diamond and 925 sterling silver jewels with precious stones encrusted. Some brands also had 18 carat gold jewelry. I couldn't shop any of those but the offerings were mouth watering and pretty expensive. But if you're willing to spend a few grands then do checkout one of these exhibitions. Parking and entry was free.

The 38th MidEast Watch & Jewelry Show will be held during March and April 2015. So if you happen to come to the UAE during that time, you'll have a chance to checkout the exhibition yourself.

They also had a few stalls carrying imitation jewels from India, Thailand and Italy and I bought myself these two sets.

More photos from the event. Do tell if you're even been to one of these events. I hope you like the photos. Enjoy!
